Brad OdomI have been interested in architecture since I was a child -- I can remember back as early as 12 years old, designing houses for my mother. I would observe the way my mother made her way around the house as she went about her daily business; I would then reconfigure the layout of the house on paper to make it more practical for her. I view Architecture as an extension of how one lives there life; while also taking into account that there lifestyle will change over the years and allow for that change in the design. I consider my most important job to be listening to my client's needs & desires. |

Daniel StilingFor me, architecture is inhabitable art. It is different from most other art forms by nature of practicality... It needs appeal and function. Like postmodern artists, residential designers want their product to give good appearances, but its meaning and purpose aren't necessary. I on the other hand, want to design beautiful homes that incorporate principles of functionality, sustainability and efficiency... principles which once embodied architecture. I believe a little more thought put into a design will result in not just a better looking house, but a better functioning home. |
